Played July 2009. Opened mid-1990's. Heathland course on higher ground set in small hamlet between North Berwick and Dunbar. Good value for money compared to some of the links courses in area. Makes a change from playing just links courses in area. Warm clubhouse. Large practice ground. Very easy to find.

I have played this course twice in the last month in varying conditions and it is a truly inspiring test of golf. The course is in fantastic condition and the greens are lightning quick.Managed to get round only losing one ball and kept my score at level par due to lady luck and one of my good days my playing partner who is a high handicapper beat me 5 & 4 and played the round of his life and has vowed to become a country member there. The course and its facilities are well worth a visit.

East Lothian has many fantastic courses but one that sticks in your mind for a long time is Whitekirk, a championship course of 6K + yards with truely magnificent view and wildlife. if you've never played this course make it one of your priorities in 2005. Every hole sets a different challange and most can break a good score. Wity a tight front 9 the back 9 opens up a bit but is no less of a challenge. I urge you to try out this course on your next visit to the area.

I organised a trip to this magnificent course two years ago and what a test of golf it is. It's got to be walked around, especially for the views.
The majority of holes are memorable and camerons test is every bit of the challenge it makes out to be.
A smashing clubhouse with a good welcome for our visiting party were all looking forward to a re-visit this year and hopefully our scores will be better.

I have visited numerous championship courses and please take my recommendation. Whitekirk oozes class. This is truly one of the greats. You won't find a stiffer test and you won't find a course with 18 great and varying holes.
Its tough getting to the greens here but the real challenge starts when you do get there. The most dangerous but rewarding course I have played. Magnificent.

I dare anyone to challenge this superb championship golf course. Being a member I have a biased view , I know of low handicappers walking off the course scraping to break the 100 barrier. So, if you like a challenge and you are in the East Lothian area give the course a try.

I organised an outing here for twelve. The course itself is excellent. The views are stunning and the welcome in the modern clubhouse is first class. This course is well worth a visit for anyone who is in the North Berwick area.
