Stayed and played at Castel Gondolfo last week. Four nights and three rounds. Excellent value and a fun course that was in great shape (except for bunkers because of heavy rains prior to our arrival). Staff was great and the restaurant for dinner was a nice surprise. We will definitely do a couple more weekends there thru the summer!

This is an opportunity not to be missed. The course is very interesting and you need to play it again and again to get used to it. Very carefully shaped by Robert Trent Jones so that if for instance you pull the ball left on the 1st hole you are left with a really difficult long shot to the green. However it is very hard to get the ball in the right areas, notably on the greens which are very subtle. all in all great fun!!

how far from Naples, cost per day too play, accomodations, group rate? better days to play, tee time, driving directions, how far from A-1 and other info you can provide. Thanks. Looking at having 10-16 players. possibly a weekend.

Of course St. Andrews is the ideal course to play but I understand if I can't afford it. Bottom line I'm open to oportunities.
