One of my favourite golf courses in the Munich area. Very old, even the "new" 9 holes are already older than 40 years.
Although the course is not very long, it is played quite long with some narrow drive zones that require smart playing, not pure power.

I played this course most weather-permitting weekends from 1970 to 1972 while stationed with the US Army at Bad Toelz. Wonderful course. One of few in the area those days. It's amazing how the popularity of golf has grown in Germany since then!
I have heard that Bernhard Langer actually learned the game on the Strasslach course in the Gruenewald section of Munich. Is that true?
