Furnas Golf Course was originally a nine-hole course designed by McKenzie Ross; its was later extended to 18 holes by Cameron & Powell. The course is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of S. Miguel Island, overlooking the stunning Furnas valley which is famous for its tropical vegetation, hot springs and mineral water as well as featuring one of the largest and most attractives lakes on the island.
