Penha Longa Golf Club is situated at 30mn from Lisbon airport and 10 min from Estoril and Cascais. Part of the Caesar Park Penha Longa Golf Resort, 27 golf holes in natural surroundings with a 5 star hotel of 179 rooms and suites. Situated at the foot of the Sintra hills, and included in the Sintra Cascais natural Park. The Resort includes a 70 ha natural reserve. The Atlantic course is actually rated as32nd course of continental Europe by the U.K magazine Golf World. The U.S Golf Magazine ranked the hole # 6, which is the signature hole, in the world best 500 holes.

| The Atlantic, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was inaugurated in 1992. This 18 holes, par 72 championship course of 6.290m is very well integrated in the landscape. It offers a challenge to all golfers, as well as breathtaking views of the ocean with Estoril and Cascais in the foreground, but also of the Sintra Hills.
