I have played San Roque (Old & New) several times & it's one of my Favourite courses in the region (Especially the Old Course), any time i go on golfing trip to Costa Del Sol, San Roque Golf club is always the first course on my list & myself & my golf buddies always enjoy San Roque both on the course & in the clubhouse, all the staff here are always extremely friendly

Hi, I would like to invite you to come back and try again. Since 2004 we have new green keeping staff and Robert Bell the head greenkeeper has done an amazing job at getting our courses back to their original glory -if not better!
    Thanks,

Played the Old course for the first time last week. Struck by the peeling paint on the clubhouse and the tiny locker room. Overall the course was a decent challenge but it looks like the money is not being spent on maintenance, and this is clear to everyone. Friendly staff, and hope there is an improvement next time.

        Dear James,
Thanks for your comments. You are right, the clubhouse had paint peeling off but it 100% repaired and painted now and is looking as good as new. For 2 years we have had 2 very severe winters and although we paint every Apr/May, the bad weather damages it again come winter. San Roque is very exposed being on top of a hill and near to the windy straits of Gibraltar but we do carry out maintainance works every year.
Ref the changing rooms we have 2 one for members and one for the public which so far has met with requirements even though it is not the largest. The difficulty we have is the clubhouse itself is such an old building that it is sometimes difficult to work with the space we have.
I look forward to welcoming you back to The San Roque Club in the future.
        Kind regards,
        Leanne Delaney

My party of 16 played 9 holes New San Roque and 18 Old San Roque end of June. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the New Course will be on our list next year, the Old Course was a joy to play but on the expensive side. Probably one of the best courses we have played in Spain in our 5 years of touring.

Played there yesterday and it was in dreadful condition. Bare patches everywhere, greens shocking. The course looks like it is not maintained at all. San Roque should be ashamed to be charging 80euros for a round. The staff however were very friendly.

There are two courses, the Old and the New! Even though I didn't play during the ideal time of year, playing the Old course was a pleasure. The course's condition was super and the surrounding views are breathtaking. Although the New course is still "growing", you can see that there is huge potential in it being a championship course. I definitely recommend playing here.
