I played today at the Spiegelven for the fisrt time today. The course is very nicely "cared for" through the green. I enjoyed playing with the exception of having to break for the occasional lawn mower (coincidentally holes 9,10,11 and 12) and (since it was Thursday) the elderly couples who were playing one and two holes ahead of me. OK, I'm patient. My problem began with the contest that had begun twenty minutes after I had and the rudeness of the marshall who was playing with the first flight. I would have like to played further, but after being reprimanded by this person for not playing fast enough, I couldn't continue with him breathing down my neck. Later, I found out that he wasn't "on duty" as marshall. I think perhaps, since he knew I wasn't a regular, he was bullying me off the course or showing off. I couldn't guess.
I think Spiegelven is a beautiful course. I think the behavior of the club member's lacking. A little friendliness can go a long way.

Hiermee vraag ik uw aandacht voor het volgende.
Op vrijdag 30 april willen wij met een groep van 12 personen bij u komen golfen. Verder zijn wij voornemens om in uw hotel te overnachten (6 twee persoonskamers en 's-avonds met de groep een diner te gebruiken.
Het zou prettig zijn als u mij per omgaande laat weten wat het totaal (golf 18 holes, diner en overnachting)kost voor deze groep van 12 personen.
Vertrouwende op uw snelle reactie verblijf ik,
