as is the case with all french courses, absoluletly fantastic! le tronchet is a very picturesque and long course,made for the big hitters, sadly not me.plenty of scope for error which is rare in bittany as there are usually plenty of trees, not too many here.some big carries across water.was there on 3/6/05,dead as a dodo,course deserves better support.having said that,last time i was there was in september '04,during a severe drought when there was not a blade of grass on the fairways.this may have put people off, but i can assure the course is fully recovered,has been redesigned and is a challenge for nay golfer.9 out of 10, go play!
