Saint Saens Golf Course is an all year round course. The fairways are undulating a winding and are lined with mature trees, with the La Varenne River coming into play as it crosses the course.

I played this course in May 2010. The course was in poor condition with the fringes not being maintained. As a result spent a lot of time searching for balls.
In my view there are much better courses in Normandy.

Beautiful Chateau, Hole 1 at the front door, Hole 18 at the back. Nice golf course. Excellent accomodation and food.
Sensible price. If the sun shines, this is paradise.

set in hilly parkland surrounded by chateau,saint saen has a good layout & spectacular first hole.
