Estoril Golf Club - Lisbon, Portugal
Estoril Golf Club near Lisbon is a classic European golf course opened in 1936 with a design by Mackenzie Ross. Host of the Portuguese Open from the early '50s to the early '70s, it's a shortish (under 6,000 yards) parkland golf course, set away from the ocean but still boasting plenty of Atlantic views.
Estoril is heavily wooded and has several elevated tee boxes and greens. Fairways are generally flat, however, and several ponds come into play.
