Golf Resort Karlstejn - Czech Republic
Golf Resort Karlstejn is located about 30 kilometers from Prague in the heart of the Czech Republic. A former European Tour site, it is considered by many to be the best golf course in the Czech Republic thanks to its wide hole variety and stunning views of the Karlstejn Castle, built in the 14th century during Emperor Charles IV's reign.
Designed by Canadian architects Les Furber and Jim Eremko, the course plays across a valley from the hill-perched castle and is usually wide open. A third nine holes is scheduled to open in the fall of 2007.
