Conditions at La Marquesa Golf Club in Spain impress reader
Staff Report
I played La Marquesa Golf Club in Alicante, Spain, on May 15, 2007, and the course was in good condition. It is a course that suits a higher handicap golfer, as it is not long. A lower handicap golfer doesn't need a driver in his bag, as the course has a number of holes that are no longer than 320 yards. The greens were in good condition, and the fairways were lush, giving the golfer a good lie. It was noted that after about 2 p.m. the course was taken up by those learning the game, which tends to lead to a longer than normal round of golf.
