Reader: Peacehaven Golf Club among southern England's toughest courses
Staff Report
Peacehaven Golf Club in East Sussex, England, is a really challenging golf course, with the par-3 No. 1 having a local reputation for being one of the hardest firsts on the south coast.
It's a really good course if you are trying to improve your accuracy. The third demands a good drive off the tee. There is deep rough on the left, trees on the right and a pond around 200 yards down the fairway.
The fourth doglegs right, with a bunker on the front right of the green. The fifth, sixth and seventh are all straight, making a good drive down the middle enough. The final hole is a par 3 over trees. Aim right, because if you hit left, you aren't going to find your ball.
