Kingsbarns Golf Links Course - St. Andrews, Scotland

Kingsbarns Golf Links is the new kid on the block in St. Andrews golf. This golf course seven miles out of town has a different look from the Links Trust in town, with the sea in your face and a dramatic amphitheater effect.

Being a modern golf course, Kingsbarns has wider, easier-to-identify landing zones than its older neighbors, but that doesn't mean it's easy. The challenge here is in the greens, which feature a variety of subtle slopes, ridges, tiers and false fronts. Though barely a decade old, the course is already in elite company, sharing hosting duties for the annual Dunhill Links Pro-Am with the Old Course at St. Andrews and Carnoustie.
